Phase IV-Shotgun

This optional course is for armed private security guards who must use a tactical shotgun while on duty. Learn the proper method of handling and securing the shotgun and how to place the shotgun in cruiser-safe condition.

Requirements: Students must supply their own pump-action 12 gauge shotgun, similar to a Remington 870. Ammunition must be purchased at the firing range. No outside ammunition is allowed.

Phase IV-Firearms

Qualify for the CLEET armed security guard license. You will learn Oklahoma's laws regarding firearms, possession, transport, use of deadly force, handcuffing and arrest techniques.

Active Shooter Simulation-MILO

Learn the appropriate use of force through realistic, real-life scenarios. High definition video combined with high-tech weapon simulation increases your heart rate and emotional level as you learn how to properly deal with potentially dangerous situations. Weapon simulations include semi-automatic pistol, taser, baton and OC (oleoresin capsicum) Spray. Simulations may include highly charged and potentially offensive language.
