Advanced Pharmacy Technician
This career major covers the same courses as the Pharmacy Technician career major before students are introduced to the advanced coursework. The advanced coursework will include advanced procedures and practice settings. In addition, students will learn aseptic techniques in the pharmacy and compounding skills and students will become familiar with hospital and long term care pharmacy environments. Pharmacy technician certification is available.
