Network Systems Technician (Security Emphasis)

Learn to install, configure and support an organization’s local area network (LAN) as well as to analyze situations and data requirements and to assist and manage moves and installation of existing and new equipment. Students learn to install, configure, maintain and manage a Windows Server environment and Active Directory infrastructure.  Students in this major gain the technical skills required for the CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP - Core Client and Server exams) and Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) certifications.

Prepeaquisite:
PC support Technician or A+ Certification or comparable experience verified by teacher.

College Credit:

• OSU-OKC - 24 credit hours available
• OSU-IT - 12 credit hours available
