Metro Technology Centers Accreditation
Metro Tech is fully accredited by the Oklahoma State Board of Career and Technology Education, which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the official accrediting body for Oklahoma’s technology centers.
Following a comprehensive onsite evaluation conducted in October 2025, the State Board approved Metro Technology Centers School District No. 22 for continued full postsecondary accreditation on March 26, 2026. This accreditation confirms that Metro Tech continues to meet established standards for providing high-quality, industry-aligned career and technical education.
As part of Metro Tech’s commitment to continuous improvement, the district has implemented an action plan addressing the accreditation quality standards. Progress will be reviewed during a virtual visit in July 2028. Metro Tech’s next comprehensive onsite evaluation is scheduled for the 2030–2031 school year.
