Veterans Educational Benefits & Resources

Metro Technology Centers offer several Career Majors/Programs that are approved by the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs State Approving Agency (ODVA SAA) for veterans and/or dependents to use Veterans’ Educational Benefits.

Chapters 30, 35, 1606 and 1607 DO NOT pay the school
These benefits pay directly to the Student
Students are responsible for paying their charges

Veterans Education benefits under Chapter 33 or 31 can start a program without payment or late fees.

Satisfactory Academic Progress

All students follow the same Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy. The Satisfactory Academic Process Policy can be found on the Metro Technology Centers website under Financial Aid. In the event a student's Financial Aid or VA benefits have been terminated due to unsatisfactory academic progress, the following must occur in order to regain eligibility:

The student must successfully complete 450 designated hours (hours vary dependent upon the program) at their own expense - OR - complete the program/career major currently enrolled at their own expense.
