This is not your average safety training!

Safety Awareness For Everyone at 2:00 PM (S.A.F.E.@14:00) features instructional seminars and discussions facilitated by industry experts sharing their ideas and insights on hazard awareness to help organizations improve worker safety and health.

Hosted by Metro Technology Centers Economic & Workforce Development Safety Division, each session of this series is free to attend and hosted live for one hour via Zoom, with recordings available for viewing after each course. S.A.F.E. @ 14:00 is a program designed to change our views on workplace, business, and organizational safety.

Join us each session for interviews with safety professionals from all walks of life exploring safety awareness for everyone. All classes are held at 2pm.

This program ensures Oklahoma employers are providing a safe and healthy work environment for employees. Funded partially by a federal grant, the OSHA Consultation Service is designed to help small, private sector, Oklahoma employers understand and comply with OSHA standards. Although the program is primarily focused on assisting small business, all employers are welcome to take advantage of the services provided.

Born and raised in Oklahoma. Graduated from Northeastern State University with B.S. Double Major in Environmental and Safety Management and a M.S. in Industrial Operations. Over 22 years’ experience in safety management. Previously employed in the private sector as an EHS Manger at large company with several thousand employees. Currently working for the Oklahoma Department of Labor as the Director of OSHA Consultation Services.
