Metro LEAD VII is designed for managers and directors with current supervisory responsibilities who have been in their role for a year or more. Ideal candidates are individuals who effect change and are preparing for higher levels of leadership within their organizations.

• One class a month & two in May. Since class topics build on each other, the timing gives program participants the opportunity to put into practice the skills they learned. They develop action plans in class and move forward with reading assignments to reinforce concepts. As they practice, they stay in touch with their accountability partners to share how different approaches are working for them.
• Role models are part of the process. Throughout the program, local influencers share insights and lessons learned. From this, participants develop invaluable professional relationships with leaders in other industries.
• Sessions focus on skills development. Topics address the four essential skills of all great leaders: developing others, motivating a team, communicating effectively and driving performance. Participants discover their own personal strengths, gaps and values as a leader and manager and apply those to strengthen these core skills.
• Six different instructors. Benefit from the expertise and experience of six unique, top-flight leadership instructors. Each instructor is the best in his/her field, and all of them have significant real-world working experience.
