Metro Tech is launching an Artificial Intelligence Accelerator (AIA) program that identifies local small businesses in Oklahoma, especially the ones from under-represented sectors such as Woman-Owned, Native American-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned etc., that will provide tailor-made Artificial Intelligence (AI) products and services for the Government Industrial Base (GIB) and Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
The AIA program will be the first of its kind in Oklahoma that targets AI, cybersecurity, and ancillary computer engineering companies. The program will focus on possible AI contract opportunities in the GIB and DIB. It will bring together three major players: Oklahoma-based small businesses with prima facie AI capabilities, the GIB and DIB, and other Oklahoma-based accelerator programs to form a comprehensive ecosystem capable of developing and delivering AI solutions for National and Economic Security.
The objective of the AIA program is to have a group of small businesses, focusing on the underserved and/or undercapitalized communities operating out of Oklahoma, with capabilities and skillsets to become contractors to GIB and DIB and deliver AI products and services.
