Requirements
  • Attend orientation the first night in the Health Careers Center building at 6 pm. Must also attend evening labs at the designated dates and times discussed in orientation.

This online course is necessary for employees performing medical coding, health information or medical records. Study the anatomy of the human body in-depth to understand the body systems and functions. Examples include systems, planes, cavities and regions. Learn anatomical terms essential for understanding medical records. THERE WILL BE FIVE EVENING LABS HELD IN THE CLASSROOM. Dates and times of evening labs are discussed in orientation. This course is a prerequisite for Coding ICD-10.
