Learn how you can help someone (a student, teacher, family member or coworker) experiencing a mental health or substance abuse problem. This course is aimed at reducing stigma by educating the public about mental health and substance abuse. Trainees go through an eight-hour program that teaches a five step-action plan. Receive a certificate from the National Council for Behavioral Health, currently being offered free of charge. Seminar and book are valued at $170.
