Active Shooter Simulation-MILO

Learn the appropriate use of force through realistic, real-life scenarios. High definition video combined with high-tech weapon simulation increases your heart rate and emotional level as you learn how to properly deal with potentially dangerous situations. Weapon simulations include semi-automatic pistol, taser, baton and OC (oleoresin capsicum) spray. Simulations may include highly charged and potentially offensive language.

Concealed Handgun License Review

Learn the legal requirements to carry a concealed handgun. Review basic training in handgun safety and firearm qualifications needed to obtain a license from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act.

Requirements: Must be 21 years old, a US Citizen and resident of Oklahoma. Enrolled students may bring an unloaded weapon in a secure case or bag. No ammunition is allowed on campus. 50 rounds of Ammo is to be purchased at the “Gun Range” for qualification. Baseball cap, eye/hearing protection and holster. Gun and equipment can be rented with prior notice.

Handgun Basics

Learn what is needed for the safe handling of a handgun, nomenclature, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, shooting positions and care of the handgun. You will shoot a qualifying course of fire on a gun range. This course is perfect for beginning shooters before taking the Conceal Carry course or for those needing a refresher.
