Short-term Courses

Welding-3G & 6G Certification

Receive basic instruction and participate in hands-on experiences using oxyfuel cutting, shielding metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG), flux cored arc welding (FCAW) and gas metal arc welding (MIG). Multiple classes maybe required to obtain full competency for 3G & 6G certification. The certification tests are available on site. Test fees are not included in tuition.

Welding Basics

Learn the basic fundamentals of cutting and welding processes. Focus on hands-on applications, along with safety and theory. Welding processes include SMAW (stick), GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux cored) and GTAW (TIG). Cutting processes include OFC (oxyfuel cutting) and PAC (plasma arc cutting). This is an excellent course for home and farm applications and serves as an introduction to industrial welding applications.
