deadCenter university is a free program offered to 50 high school students each June during the deadCenter film festival. The students take classes from award-winning filmmakers in town for the festival, get hands-on experience shooting a movie with local filmmakers, network with other film enthusiasts, and enjoy a weekend of great films and panels. Metro Technology Centers
With the development of Film Row and the growth of industry needs for filmmaking, deadCenter and Metro Tech partnered to fill a niche in Oklahoma. Metro Tech’s film and video program was the perfect fit to deadCenter’s desire to educate budding artists while learning from the very best professionals in the film industry. Metro Tech’s film and video program is taught by instructor, Harrison Wolohon who leads deadCenter University programming.

The basic principles of filmmaking demonstrated through interactive sessions while meeting industry professionals, and networking with others.
