Metro Tech’s ‘Spooktacular’ Community Halloween Event Scheduled for Oct. 30

Metro Tech’s ‘Spooktacular’ Community Halloween Event Scheduled for Oct. 30

The third annual Metro FIT Halloween Spooktacular promises to be a fun-filled evening for the whole family, featuring free trick-or-treating and activities at the Metro Tech Springlake Campus on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The event will take place along the Springlake Campus walking trails, a one-mile loop completed in 2023 with support from the 2019 Community Bond Initiative. Open year-round, the trails offer a safe and accessible space for community members to exercise and enjoy the scenic surroundings.

During the Spooktacular, the trails will be lined with candy stations, family-friendly activities, and western-inspired decorations to match this year's theme. Various Metro Tech programs and departments participate in the event, offering attendees a glimpse into the educational opportunities and resources available throughout the district.

Coordinated by Metro Tech's Community Outreach and Wellness Department (Metro FIT), the event provides a festive Halloween activity that encourages families to enjoy the outdoors and stay active together.

"Our Halloween Spooktacular is about community, connection, and wellness, inviting families to spend time together while taking simple steps toward healthier lives," said Cherrisa Milton, Metro Tech Wellness Coordinator.
