Metro Tech Business Technology Students Qualify for National Competition
Students from Metro Tech’s Accounting, Legal Office, Medical Office, and Informational Technology programs competed and placed at the State Business Professionals of America (BPA) competition in Tulsa, qualifying for the national competition in Anaheim on May 10th.
Qualifying for nationals were first-place competitors in the following categories:

- Sharita Searcy, Legal Office - Business Law and Ethics
- Rocky Martinez, Accounting - Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications
- Tiffany Geimausaddle, Legal Office - Legal Office Procedures

Two adult students from Metro Tech's Medical and Legal Office programs placed in the top three in competitions at the National Business Professionals of America (BPA) Conference last week in Orlando.
More than 50 Metro Tech students earned gold, silver, and bronze medals at the 2025 SkillsUSA Oklahoma Leadership and Skills Conference in Tulsa, with several advancing to the national competition this June.
Enrollment is now open for Camp Tech Trek, Metro Tech’s hands-on career exploration camp for students ages 10 to 14. The first of four weekly sessions will kick off Monday, June 2, at the Metro Tech Springlake Campus.
