Dr. Monique Miles Bruner has excelled in her education. She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and doctorate in Educational Leadership at Southwestern College. Monique has been teaching at the college level for over 25 years.
Dr. Bruner has served Rose State College in several areas: academic advisement, tenured political science faculty member, associate dean and interim dean of social sciences division and currently, she is the Executive Director, Diversity and Cultural Affairs. She also has been a long-time adjunct faculty member at Langston University/OKC and Oklahoma Panhandle State University. Monique has received numerous awards and honors for her teaching and administration at the collegiate level.
Monique has dedicated endless amount of time and hard work to support the community. She is involved with several community organizations, specifically The Sharing Tree, The OKC Black Chamber, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She spends family time watching movies, putting together jigsaw puzzles, reading, and watching football with her husband BK Bruner, children (Angelique, Domonique, Shayla, and Isaiah) and mother, Wilma Miles.

The Metro Technology Centers Community Outreach and Wellness Center is launching a new and free program for families in Oklahoma City starting Saturday, June 3, 2023, and registration is now open.
On Thursday, May 25, Sunbeam Family Services and Metro Technology Centers celebrated the official grand opening and ribbon cutting of the newly constructed Early Education Center at the Metro Tech South Bryant Campus.
More than 20 Metro Tech STEM Academy Students recently placed at the Oklahoma State Technology Student Association (TSA) State Conference. Top placing students qualified for national competitions in Louisville this June.
