Bringing Home the Gold: Metro Tech Students Shine at Oklahoma SkillsUSA Competitions
Over 40 Metro Tech students placed top 3 in competitions at the Oklahoma SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference in Tulsa last week. With several programs bringing home gold medals, sights are set on the Atlanta national competition this June.
High School and Adult students compete in categories separated by secondary and post-secondary. Competitions allow students to show off their talents and test their skills and are created, overseen, and judged by industry professionals.

A newly constructed nursing simulation lab on Metro Tech’s Springlake Campus is providing cutting-edge training opportunities for healthcare students.
Metro Tech’s 2025 Black History Month Celebration, “In Living Color,” will bring Black history and culture to life, honoring vibrant contributions through art and community.
