Metro Tech’s Halloween Spooktacular Community Event Scheduled for Oct. 29

Metro Tech is inviting families of Oklahoma City and surrounding communities to its fourth annual Halloween Spooktacular from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Springlake Campus, 1900 Springlake Dr., Oklahoma City, OK 73111.

The free community event will feature trick-or-treating and family-friendly activities along the campus walking trails. Metro Tech programs and departments will host stations throughout the event, offering candy, interactive activities, and Halloween fun for attendees of all ages. The Spooktacular also gives attendees an opportunity to meet Metro Tech team members and learn more about the educational programs, services, and resources available across the district.

The Springlake Campus walking trails were completed in 2023 with support from Metro Tech’s 2019 Community Bond Initiative. Open year-round, the one-mile loop offers a safe and accessible space for community members to exercise and enjoy the scenic surroundings.

Coordinated by Metro Tech’s Community Outreach and Wellness Department, also known as MetroFIT, the Halloween Spooktacular encourages families to explore the trails, enjoy the outdoors, and stay active together.
