Metro Tech Health Careers, STEM Students Excel at State HOSA Competitions

More than 30 Metro Tech Health Careers and STEM students placed in the top five in competitions at the 2026 HOSA–Future Health Professionals Oklahoma State Leadership Conference in Norman, with several first-place winners advancing to international competitions in Indianapolis this June.

The 2026 HOSA State Leadership Conference brought secondary (high school) and post-secondary (adult) students from across the state to compete in a variety of medical science-related events designed to assess technical knowledge, clinical skills, and leadership ability. Additionally, industry professionals create, oversee, and judge competitions.

Placements are listed by student name, program, and competitive event.
