Metro Tech Foundation announces new executive director


The Metro Tech Foundation has named Ashleigh Gibson the new executive director. 

Gibson brings 14 years of nonprofit management experience into her new role at Metro Tech. With a major in psychology and minor in sociology; Gibson completed her undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University and her graduate degree at The University of Central Oklahoma. She has an extensive professional background in serving Oklahoma City's at-risk youth and adult population and as a result; she brings a diverse and unique skill set that includes an emphasis on program development into her new role.  

The Foundation office is located at the Economic Development Center on Metro Tech's Springlake Campus and be reached at (405) 595-4415.

At this week’s conference in Tulsa, Metro Technology Centers was recognized as a Gold Star School for the 22nd year and several district officials, including the assistant superintendent of instruction, received top honors.
