Metro Tech to Showcase Event Spaces and Workforce Training Resources at Open House

Metro Tech to Showcase Event Spaces and Workforce Training Resources at Open House

Metro Tech is offering an inside look at its conference, training and meeting venues, along with its workforce training resources during its Business and Community Partners Open House at 4:30 p.m. on April 30 at the Metro Tech Conference Center, 1900 Springlake Dr., Oklahoma City.

Through both Conference Services and the Economic & Workforce Development (EWD) team, Metro Tech partners with local and state-wide organizations and agencies across various industries to provide resources tailored to workforce needs. In fiscal year 2025, these divisions served a combined total of over 75,000 clients through events, conferences, expos and trade shows, as well as customized and short-term training. Recent enhancements and renovations to these for-rent spaces have further expanded their functionality and appeal.

The Open House will begin at the Metro Tech Conference Center with a brief welcome, followed by guided tours of the facility’s rooms and amenities. Guests will also enjoy light refreshments and be entered to win door prizes. Following the Conference Center tour, attendees will be transported to Metro Tech’s Economic Development Center, where the EWD will introduce their new main office, formerly at 101 N. Robinson Ave. in downtown Oklahoma City.

While Metro Tech continues to maintain a presence at its Downtown Campus, the transition of EWD’s main office to the Economic Development Center has extended the team’s capacity to provide training resources to a growing number of organizations. Metro Tech’s EWD services offer a range of short-term and customized training from leadership development to coaching and consultation services, as well as small business support.

Featured Spaces:

  • Metro Tech's Conference Center offers eight private meeting rooms, the Big III, which can accommodate up to 320 guests or be divided into three spaces, and a 283-seat auditorium. The facility is also equipped with modern audio and video technology and on-site catering through Metro Café, with buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.
  • The Economic Development Center features additional classroom-style meeting rooms equipped with desktops and smart boards, designed to support professional development, computer applications and certification-based training.

“Metro Tech is committed to building strong partnerships that support workforce development and economic growth across our community,” said Metro Tech Superintendent & CEO Aaron Collins. “This event provides an opportunity for business officials to explore our facilities and learn how our training solutions can help them meet their goals and invest in their workforce.”

One of the largest and most diverse technology centers in Oklahoma, Metro Tech has four campuses offering short-term, career and customized business training options. Campuses are located in South Oklahoma City, Northeast Oklahoma City, Downtown Oklahoma City and the Will Rogers Airport.
