Metro Tech to simulate drive-by shooting during MetroCare Hospital Day and Emergency Response Drill

On Thursday, January 26 at 9 a.m., Metro Tech will conduct the Annual MetroCare Hospital Day and Mass Casualty Exercise. There will be first responders on scene including Oklahoma City Police Department, Oklahoma City Fire Department, EMSA and the Department of Homeland Security. All Metro Tech campuses will be on lockdown briefly at the beginning of the exercise, but it is not expected to interrupt regular district operations. The media and community have been notified of the exercise to avoid any confusion.
