Metro Tech Students Place at SkillsUSA Nationals 2025
Metro Tech students recently competed at the 2025 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta. Students represented Metro Tech in a wide range of career categories and placed among the top competitors in the nation.
Results included:
- Jorge Zamora, Law Enforcement graduate – Criminal Justice – Top 10
- Bradley Schantz, Firefighter Services graduate – Fire Fighting – Top 5
- Brianna Fraire, Jillian Klein, and Antonio Lyons, Graphic Design graduates – Career Pathways: Arts & Communications – Top 20
- Keven Davila, Tommy Lambert, and Daniela Martinez, Entrepreneurship graduates – Community Service – Top 30
One of the largest and most diverse technology centers in Oklahoma, Metro Tech has four campuses offering short-term, career and customized business training options. Campuses are located in South Oklahoma City, Northeast Oklahoma City, Downtown Oklahoma City and the Will Rogers Airport.

More than 60 Metro Tech high school and adult students placed in the top three at the 2026 Oklahoma SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference in Tulsa, with several 1st place winners earning qualification to compete at the national level in Atlanta this June.

Greg Jones has been elected to represent District 5 on the Metro Tech Board of Education and was officially sworn in during the board’s monthly meeting on April 20, 2026. He will serve a four-year term.

More than 30 Metro Tech Health Careers and STEM students placed in the top five in competitions at the 2026 HOSA–Future Health Professionals Oklahoma State Leadership Conference in Norman, with several first-place winners advancing to international competitions in Indianapolis this June.
