Metro Tech Students and Staff Earn Top Honors at 2025 SkillsUSA Oklahoma Conference

More than 50 Metro Tech students earned gold, silver, and bronze medals at the 2025 SkillsUSA Oklahoma Leadership and Skills Conference in Tulsa, with several advancing to the national competition this June. While there, Metro Tech Education Technology Coach Anita Parks was honored with the SkillsUSA Oklahoma Marsha Daves Lifetime Achievement Award, and Metro Tech’s Entrepreneurship SkillsUSA Chapter received the Bronze Level Quality Chapter of Distinction Award.

High School and Adult students competed in secondary (S) and post-secondary (PS) categories. Industry professionals create, oversee, and judge competitions, allowing students to showcase their talents and test their skills.

“We are incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding performance at the SkillsUSA Oklahoma Conference, and celebrate those advancing to nationals,” Metro Tech Superintendent and CEO Aaron Collins said. “We also congratulate Anita Parks on her well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award and our Entrepreneurship Chapter for earning Bronze Level recognition.
