Halloween Spooktacular Event Scheduled for October 30 at Metro Tech
Metro Tech is inviting the community to attend its second annual Halloween Spooktacular on October 30, 2024, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Springlake Campus, 1900 Springlake Dr., Oklahoma City, 73111.
This free event will feature trick-or-treating, games, and activities hosted at various candy booths set up along the walking trails throughout the campus. Attendees will also be able to explore the different programs and opportunities Metro Tech offers.
The Springlake walking trails, completed in 2023 with support from the 2019 Community Bond Initiative, span approximately one mile. Open year-round, these trails offer a safe and accessible space for community members to explore the campus and enjoy its scenic surroundings.
"Events like our annual Spooktacular strengthen our core values of family, health, community, and education,” Valerie McMurry, Metro Tech’s Director of Community Outreach and Wellness, said. “We are grateful for our community and partners, like the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, whose support has helped make our initiatives possible."
