Children

Unless designed to host youth, no children are allowed in training classes, seminars, meetings, etc.

Hours of Operations

The scheduling office is open from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

The conference center is open, Monday – Thursday from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, on Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, and on Saturday by reservation only. We are closed on Sundays and all Saturdays before holidays.

Customer Responsibility

No candles, confetti, or glitter is allowed for decorating. No paper, posters, or other items are allowed to be affixed to any surface or any furniture. We do not allow items to be taped, stapled, nailed, tacked, or screwed to any surface or furniture. Customers will be responsible for clean-up and repair of facilities if any of the above-mentioned instances occur.

Deposit

A deposit of $200 or the total cost of the conference service, whichever is less, and a signed contract must be received by Metro Technology Centers at least 10 days prior to the date of your event or at the time the reservation is made, if less than 10 days prior.

Spaces Available for Use

The auditorium, main lobby, conference room, meeting rooms A-F, J, K, or G/H/I (Big III), and the hallway that runs from our office suite to the Big III. We've also added a covered, outdoor space on the west side of the Conference Center.

Personnel

Events require a meeting room attendant and a security officer. The rate for meeting room attendants is $20 per hour.

The rate for security officers is $40 per hour. We require one of each for every 100 people.

Use on the Weekends

Metro Tech is closed on Sundays and some Saturdays. For example, Saturdays around holidays are not available for use.

Weekend events incur additional personnel costs (security and a meeting room attendant).

In-house Catering

Metro Tech offers in-house catering (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and all-day service (see latest in-house Catering Menu).

Using Food Trucks

Food trucks are allowed at events, pending parking lot availability. You must first email all required documents listed below. Paperwork must be valid on the day of your event. Please include the event booking number.

A copy of a Certificate of Liability Insurance with Metro Technology Centers listed as a certificate holder. The Certificate of Liability Insurance must include Commercial General Liability, Workmen’s Comp, and Automobile Liability.
A copy of their Food Handler’s Certificate, such as “Serve Safe”
A copy of their Food Permit issued by the OK State Dept. of Health

In addition, Metro Tech will also need to have the following information on file:

Name of Catering Company & address
Contact name, phone & e-mail address

Bringing Food to Serve

You may bring in prepackaged food items from commercial grocers like Homeland or Sam’s Club. No home-cooked food can be served.

Additional Catering Fees

Buffet Tables ($25.00 each)
Cloth Napkins ($3.00 each)
Linens ($7.00 each) will be refreshed daily (at $3.50 each)

Serving Size

One “per person” serving is about 4oz of meat, 2oz of carbs, and 2oz of veggies.

Buffet Tables

All of our buffets are self-serve with no monitoring of servings per person.

Ordering Food On-Site

The Metro Cafe (not available for catering) is often available for on-site orders (check hours).
