PLTW Pre-Engineering
- High School Only
Students in this major will study pre-engineering through the rigorous Project-Lead-the-Way (PLTW) curriculum that will provide students hands-on projects and experiences. In addition, students will complete advanced math and science courses. Students who complete this major will have been exposed to a diverse curriculum that will better equip them to choose a major at the college/university level. Students will also have the strong math and science foundation needed to be prepared to enter a college/university program in a pre-engineering related field.
NOTE: Students will take the required PLTW courses. They will then take a combination of elective PLTW courses, math and sciences as determined by course availability to complete the remaining 480 hours for 2-year students, or 960 hours for 3-year students.
