Graduation Ceremony

The ceremony will last approximately 60 minutes.

      Please wear business-casual style clothing under the gowns. Dark shoes are appropriate.

If you decorate your cap and it has explicit words on it- you will be asked to remove it and replace with a new one.

Yes, ask a Metro Tech staff member for assistance when you arrive at the ceremony.

The church is wheelchair accessible on the lower level seating only. Seating in the balcony is accessed by staircases only and is not wheelchair accessible.

Completers will receive a name card before the ceremony. These cards will be given to the announcer to call your name as you walk across the stage.

Candid Color Photography will be on stage to take a photograph of each completer receiving their certificate. An additional photograph will be taken after the student leaves the stage and will be available online at CandidColorPhotography.com or you may reach them at 800-345-1443. An offer to purchase these photographs is mailed to the email the student provides, but there is no obligation to place an order.

Ceremony begins promptly at 6:00 PM. Students are asked to arrive between 5:15 and 5:30 PM and limit the number of guests to 5 family or friends.

Students will need to be dropped off and enter through the South facing entrance that says “Welcome Center”.

Family and Friends should be in their seats by 5:45 p.m. Please arrive early.

If you have members of your family that will require handicap seating, please arrive early to get the best seating areas and assistance by our graduation team members.

*Handicap seating will be very limited if family members arrive after 6:00 PM or when the ceremony begins.
