Metro Technology Centers announces a $35,000 grant award from the Oklahoma City Community Foundation Wellness Initiative Grant Program. The grant will be used to implement MetroFit Wellness Community OutReach, a health initiative that addresses the physical and mental health needs of the 73111 population. The initiative will offer group exercise classes and healthy food options for the community at large.
Metro Tech Superintendent Dr. Elaine Stith expressed gratitude for funds that can change lives.
“With the support of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, Metro Tech will be able to further our reach within the 73111 community to improve the lives of residents and students. We appreciate this grant award and look forward to the many opportunities we can extend with the proceeds,” she said.
