It has been another exciting week here at Metro Tech!
The word of the week is NEW AND IMPROVED! As in New and Improved Assessment Center, New and Improved Downtown Campus, and New opportunities to get the COVID Vaccine.
This week we visited the Assessment Center in Student Service at the Business Conference Center talking with Vincent Ward the Director of Student Services and Terri Grusendorf the Assessment Services Coordinator.
Our Surgical Tech program had a visit from Dr. Maggie from the Oklahoma Heart Hospital and the Practical Nursing and Medical Assisting students have been working with the community to support local vaccine delivery.
Aviation students will be graduating in March and Career Services hosted fairs so students can explore a career in the military.
Metro Tech Students, remember to apply for a Metro Tech Foundation Scholarship. Don’t pass up FREE Money!
We were excited to be visited this week by The City Sentinel, KWTV News 9, KFOR-TV, KTUZ-TV Ch. 30 and El Latino American Newspaper. All of these media outlets were helping us shout out our wonderful story. We are grateful to our media partners!
The CareerTech Leader of the week is Ryan Patten, counselor at the Metro Tech STEM Academy. Congratulations Ryan!!!
See you next week!
