Basic dynamic refraction and concepts of accommodation, presbyopia and ADDS will be introduced. Keratometry and intermediate concepts of astigmatism will be discussed as well as the principles and function of autorefraction. The students will apply theory to practice through correlated and supervised instruction in clinical lab settings. There will be extensive hands on exercises in the lab setting. Students should be prepared for long hours of standing.
