Barbering
- Barbering
The Barbering program is designed for students that would like to obtain an Oklahoma Barbering License from the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. The curriculum includes 1500 hours of technical instruction and practical skills covering barber practices that will properly prepare students for an entry level career as a licensed barber. Students will learn basic manipulative skills on shaving, haircutting, styling, advanced barbering services, the science and safety of barbering, and the business of barbering. Such criteria will properly prepare students to pass the State Board Examination and to prepare for successful employment as a barber.
