Barbering (High School)

Train for a career as a barber with hands-on instruction in haircutting, shaving, styling, advanced techniques, safety, and the business of barbering. To obtain state licensing, students must complete 1,500 hours of instruction and pass the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology written and practical exams, with 500 hours waived for high school students if high school core courses are successfully completed.
